Bleaching
BLEACHING / TOOTH WHITENING
Bleaching is done to lighten teeth that are stained or discolored.
It entails the use of a bleaching solution applied by a dentist in the dental Clinic or a gel in a tray that fits over the teeth used at home under a dentist's supervision.
IN OFFICE BLEACHING
One hour office bleaching under strict supervision of the dentist.
HOME BLEACHING
Home bleaching or out of office bleaching is done with a lesser concentration of bleach and is to be repeated for 4 nights in a row. The patient is expected to apply the bleach in the trays that are custom made for each patient and the trays with the bleach are to be worn over night for 4 consecutive nights.
Results reached are almost as similar as the in office bleaching process.

Bleaching trays are custome made for each patient. Bleach is containted within the tray during the bleaching process and the trays are worn on the upper and lower arches. The trays also help to protect the soft tissues of the oral cavity.
